Year 10 Pupils Reach Final of Digital Defenders Cyber Challenge

We are incredibly proud of our Year 10 pupils who recently competed in the final of Callsign’s Digital Defenders Cyber Challenge. The team reached the final stage of the competition, going head-to-head with five other Manchester schools and presenting their work in front of leading industry experts.

Their final presentation was outstanding, delivered with confidence and professionalism, and they were a real credit to St Patrick’s. Throughout the event, our pupils conducted themselves impeccably and demonstrated impressive technical knowledge, teamwork and communication skills.

This achievement is the result of months of dedicated preparation, during which they truly put St Patrick’s value of resilience into action. We could not be prouder of their efforts and success.

‘I enjoyed this experience as it taught me something about what the real world of work is going to be like’

I learned that it is stressful standing and talking in front of an audience but once it’s done, it isn’t actually that bad!

I feel like I have gained confidence with public speaking and getting my point across as well as working as  a team-all skills which are sure to help me in my career

I enjoyed working with different people both in school and from industry who helped us plan and prepare
