Celebrating Black History Month: A Feast of Culture and Community

Our talented Year 10 Hospitality and Catering pupils delivered an incredible Food Festival to mark the end of Black History Month, treating pupils and staff to a vibrant celebration of culture, flavour, and unity. Guests enjoyed a variety of free taster dishes inspired by cuisines from around the world, showcasing both creativity and culinary skill.

The atmosphere was made even more special by our wonderful school choir, whose moving performance of “Something Inside So Strong” filled the lunch canteen with harmony and hope.

This event truly reflected our school values of Love, Resilience, and Service — love through the sharing of food and culture, resilience through the pupils’ hard work and preparation, and service through giving back to our school community.

A heartfelt thank you to our amazing pupils and staff who made this inspiring celebration possible.
