“Success is not just about making money. It’s about making a difference.” Richard Branson
Our Enterprise and Marketing curriculum empowers students to become confident, knowledgeable, and ethically aware individuals who understand the dynamic nature of the business world and their role within it. Inspired by Gospel values such as stewardship, service, justice, and integrity, learners are encouraged to view enterprise not just as a commercial pursuit, but as a meaningful vocation that can serve the common good.
Through the OCR course, pupils gain practical insight into how businesses identify opportunities, develop products, and bring them to market. They explore the entrepreneurial process, from spotting gaps in the market to designing marketing strategies and evaluating performance, while building skills in decision-making, problem-solving, and communication.
Guided by Catholic Social Teaching, students consider how enterprise can promote human dignity, serve communities, and support responsible decision-making. As they design and pitch their own business proposals. They are challenged to reflect values such as integrity, service, and care for others, developing both commercial awareness and a sense of moral responsibility.
Our aim is that every pupil leaves Enterprise and Marketing equipped to make informed choices, act with integrity, and understand how business can be a force for positive change in their lives, communities, and the wider world.
