Message from the Executive Principal
Mrs Wall is not returning to school because of ill health. The school community is immeasurably richer for her many contributions and I know that you would want to join me in wishing her well. Since September 2016, I have taken charge of the day-to-day running of the school and will continue to do that for the remainder of this academic year. I am reminded daily that our girls and boys are special, they are a joy and it is a privilege to serve them.
A real strength of the school is the quality of our teaching and support staff. They continue to enthuse and support me; together we are committed to meeting the needs of every child. Our teachers inspire pupils to dream more, learn more, do more and become more.
This is a successful school because we realise the importance of working in partnership with parents to create a positive ethos and maintain high standards. I will continue to ask for support on various issues and I will take opportunities to consult on matters, which would benefit from parental involvement.
Our school has a distinctive Catholic ethos and our pupils are expected to achieve their best and use their learning to make a difference in the world they live in.
As a National Teaching School we welcome visitors on a regular basis, they always comment on the sense of purpose and a desire to learn, grow and develop.
