All children and young people who live or attend school in Greater Manchester are entitled to travel for a child’s concessionary fare on the area’s buses, trains and trams if they are the holder of an igo pass. Children who travel by bus, including Yellow School Buses, are required to have igo cards from the age of 11 to 16 (the card expires on 31 August after the child’s 16th birthday) to enable them to travel for the current concessionary fare, which is half fare. Bus Operators may charge a higher fare if children do not have an igo pass.
Click here for further details about the igo pass or to make an application. Please be aware that applications are managed by Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) - forms are not available from the school.
