What do I need for a certain level?

Level 3

I can explain why things happen eg. I can explain why a bulb in an electrical circuit might not light

Level 4

I can use scientific words to describe patterns and relationships eg. I can explain the relationship in a food chain

Level 5

I can use scientific ideas to explain what I have observed eg. I can explain how the arrangement and movement of particles is different in solids, liquids and gases.

Level 6

I can use scientific ideas to explain patterns and relationships eg. I can explain how to separate mixtures using filtration and evaporation.

Level 7

I can use scientific ideas to explain links and differences between connected processes eg. I can explain how respiration and photosynthesis are connected.
