St Patrick’s RC High School is set to move to their new State of the Art school building in April 2013 as part of the Building Schools for the Future Programme.
Detailed plans were approved by the Planning Committee on Friday 16th September 2011 giving the go ahead to the multi-million pound development.
The new school will be built on land previously occupied by the Annex and ROSLA buildings. The school will have a New Lane frontage and will incorporate the existing Sports Hall within the development. The existing school and playing fields will remain in use throughout the build period ensuring no disruption to pupils learning.
The amazing new facilities will include a wide range of teaching facilities which will incorporate;
Head Teacher Barbara Rogers said: “I’m absolutely thrilled with the planned design; this is a once in a lifetime opportunity to develop a facility that will provide our young people, and the community, with a resource that matches the outstanding learning opportunities that we provide to our pupils.
